Explanation: The slash in the chord name indicates that the second letter is added as a new bass note. C/B should therefore be read as C Major chord with a B note in the bass and C/A as C Major chord with an A note in the bass. Note that C/D would also be possible to play using two hands without an inversion. C/Ab could also be written C/G#.
Theory: C/B is identical with the third inversion of Cmaj7, C/Bb is identical with the third inversion of C7, C/A is identical with the third inversion of C6 and C/D is identical with an inverted D11.
