Notes

This tool uses simple enharmonic spelling (sharp keys show sharps, flat keys show flats) and diatonic degree mapping. Case sets default triad quality (I vs i). Diminished (°) and half-dim (ø) override case. Suffixes like 7/maj7/sus/add are appended to the chord root.

Examples: V7 → dominant 7th, Imaj7 → major-7th, iiø7 → half-diminished 7th (m7♭5), vi → minor, bVII → flat seven degree.
